The Common Touch Craft Show

[16.11.2019 to 09.02.2020]
SPRMRKT at STPI

Common Touch Craft Unit – an independent pottery studio based in Singapore run by artists and craftsmen Fyon Cheong and Zestro Leow. Their solo exhibition as a unit titled The Common Touch Craft Show runs from 16 November 2019 to 9 February 2020 at SPRMRKT at STPI and revolves around clay and pottery.

They will be presenting a series of handcrafted contemporary ceramic sculptures that blend the traditional and contemporary aspects of the Ceramic Arts. Giving us a peek behind the Common Touch Craft Unit curtain to get to know their individual practice and what drives them as, not just a duo, but as individual craftsman and artists as well.

In-conjunction with the craft show, the duo have teamed up with Chef Marc of SPRMRKT to offer a special item on the restaurant menu.

The Filipino Style Tsokolate is a chocolatey drink served up in @commontouchcraft’s handcrafted ceramic mugs with an artist crafted edible ‘pottery’ vessel on the side – tear it apart and eat straight up or dunk it in your drink.

The drink is available on SPRMRKT at STPI menus for the duration of the exhibition (16/11/2019 – 09/02/2020) only!
